2017 CTE Professional Development Conference:
September 22 & 23, 2017
location: Marriott East, Indianapolis
YOU ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT YOUR BEST PRACTICES, BRIGHT IDEAS or OTHER TOPICS OF INTEREST as a presenter for the 2017 All CTE Professional Development Conference. If you have something you think other CTE professionals could benefit from, you are invited to submit a proposal for an educational session.
An educational session topic may be generic in nature; interesting to any attendee, or target a specific subject-matter for a select audience. Proposals will be reviewed by a jury of CTE educators. In addition, subject-specific proposals will be reviewed by the Affiliate conference planners. Educational sessions will be 50 minutes and will be scheduled on Friday or Saturday, according to space limitations and the needs of the Affiliates. "Deep Dives", consisting of two back to back sessions will allow more exploration on a topic and will be scheduled for Saturday only.
Indiana-ACTE will provide a standard AV package (LCD projector, screen, AV cart and electrical hookup) in each meeting room. You should indicate on the proposal form if you will need access to the Internet. Presenters are responsible for any handouts and any additional equipment needed. Note that all presenters must register for the conference by the advance registration cutoff date in order to be scheduled.
Note for Exhibitors/Vendors: Registered exhibitors may submit proposals for exhibitor sessions. If selected, those sessions will be scheduled at a time and location convenient to the exhibit space. Exhibitor sessions may showcase the exhibitor's product or service.
Proposals are due by April 20, 2017. You will be notified by April 30 if your proposal was selected.
